With the increasing popularity of the free car or get paid to drive program, more and more people get involved. Some people may have the question that it is legitimate.
There are a very limited number of companies who will provide free cars to people in order to test them. These are most often television shows and magazines that review cars for the public. In most cases it will be employees and friends of the company. Best suggestion would be to look at the websites of the TV shows and magazines of these companies. You’re also much more likely to get an opportunity like this if you have a history of freelance writing for other sources.
Another program wasn’t a free car, but would come pretty close. It was advertising on your vehicle. In many big cities you’ll see taxis with large advertisement banners on the back mounted on frames. There are companies who will also put these banners on your vehicle and pay you for the right to do so. There are some downsides to this, not the least of which is the large advertising banner and frame on the back of your vehicle. There is also the potential of holes being drilled to mount the frame etc.
Make sure you research the company carefully, and never pay them for the registration for these companies. Remember, they pay you, not the other way around. A friend of mine in Calgary, Canada did have one of these signs and it paid almost all of their monthly car payment.
These are many sites offering the information. But you should thoroughly research the companies and contracts involved before signing up.
